2012 Jeep Wrangler Gets Updated With New 285-hp Pentastar V6

From egmcartech.com
Not too long ago, we had word that the current Jeep Wrangler will receive a minor update in the form of a new engine. Now, Jeep has officially unveiled the new Wrangler.
The car itself virtually remains the same, but the difference comes from the new Pentastar 3.6L V6 that finally replaces the lethargic 3.8L V6. Producing 285-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, the improvements are an obvious 40% improvement over the outgoing V6 for horsepower and a 10% improvement for torque. Additionally, thanks to the new engine, the Wrangler can achieve up to 21 mpg.

2012 Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Jeep Wrangler Spotted

By Jerry Korzeniewski@AutoBlog.com
It looks like Jeep and Activision Publishing are continuing their successful partnership, placing battlefield-ready Wranglers in the Call of Duty
video game series and selling a real-life version to gamers who wish to
shuttle themselves to and fro in rough-and-tumble off-road-ready
opulence.
For those unaware, there's a new version of the video game series
heading to store shelves in short order, and Jeep is wasting no time
showing its own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Wrangler to the public.
Interestingly, Jeep decided to bring out its COD 3 Wrangler for the first time at the 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise,
sporting all manner of specific gaming paraphernalia; such as new front
and rear bumpers (the rear one holds water), mesh reliefs in the hood,
flat black wheels with large, blocky tires and large metal emblems.
Expect this latest COD-infused Wrangler to hit the market in the fall,
timed to coincide with the release of the affiliated video game. In the
meantime, check out some live shots in our image gallery, courtesy of

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 WOWS! Full Test and Video

By Scott Oldham@InsideLine.com
Good advice is hard to come by in this world. But here's a golden nugget. Do something you love with your life, because first you're 20. Then you're 40. Then you're dead.
Too morbid? Then allow us to quote the great philosopher Ferris Bueller, who once said, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around every once in awhile you could miss it."
That's the mindset behind the 470-horsepower, 6.4-liter, 160-mph, 5,000-pound, $60,000, 12-mpg 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. This muscled-up SUV is about enjoying today, right this very moment. It's about wanting, reaching and grabbing. Pure automotive hedonism. And we absolutely love it.
Just the fact that Jeep will sell you such an automotive delectation in this age of four-buck gas and the politicized green movement is exactly what we're talking about. Your neighbor, your Oprah and your wallet may be telling you to get a Prius, but your soul wants this beast.
Let's go for a ride.
